Barışkan Kuyumculuk opened its first store in Istanbul in 1996. We have been doing the same work with the same care ever since: offering gold and diamond jewelry with the right karat, honest craftsmanship and a fair price. Today we serve from four stores across Istanbul, with our own bench masters and a supply network built over decades — with the same approach in the shop window and online.
Jewelry is a craft learned at the bench, not from a book. Nearly thirty years in the trade means knowing which stone sits securely in which setting, which karat holds up to daily wear, and how a wedding band looks years later. We believe we have done our job well not when we praise a piece, but when we can tell you that a piece is not right for you.

Our bench masters, who have given years to this craft, are the backbone of the team. A piece brought into our store is assessed under a jeweler’s loupe, not across a sales counter. The main work we do in the workshop:
Jewelry lives as it is worn, and what is worn needs care. Our repair process is straightforward: a master examines your piece first, we tell you what needs to be done and what it will cost, nothing begins without your approval, and we let you know as soon as the work is finished. A bracelet inherited from your grandmother receives the same care as a solitaire ring bought last week. The most valuable asset built over thirty years is relationships. Thanks to long-standing connections in the trade, our suppliers and the workshops we work with, we can source a model that is not in the window and meet special requests within a reasonable time. Rather than saying we do not have it, we look for a way to make it happen.
In this trade a customer is not really buying a product; they are buying a promise. People around us trust us because we have kept the same promise for thirty years. We protect that trust online in exactly the same way:
We have known some of the customers who walk through our door for twenty or twenty-five years. A couple who bought their engagement ring from us comes back years later for their child’s first gold gift; a young person whose parents shopped with us returns for their own wedding bands.
